
The Art In City Hall program presents exhibitions that showcase contemp- orary artwork by professional and emerging Philadelphia visual artists. Encompassing a variety of mediums, techniques, and subjects, this municipal program is committed to presenting a diversity of ideas and artistic explorations. The program strives to link visual artists with the larger community by providing the public with a greater knowledge and appreciation of their artistic achievements.

The City of Philadelphia and Department of Public Property are pleased to announce the launching of the Art in City Hall information and exhibition web site. The site, designed by MFR Consultants, Inc. of Old City, was commissioned to showcase works of art created by emerging and professional Philadelphia artists; including children of the School District and members of local nonprofit arts organizations and community art centers.
